Online cycling platform, RGT Cycling had the ambition of reacting to the COVID-19 crisis rapidly, offering their full premium service for free as more cyclists were unable to ride outside.

Given the growth of digital cycling platforms in the last five years, competition is intense and is often difficult to be heard in a space so dominated by the likes of Zwift.

RGT Cycling consulted PaceUp Media to ascertain what was achievable in the current global climate and the overarching strategy required to gain coverage.

This resulted in PaceUp Media producing a press release, defining key messaging and fielding media enquiries generated as a result.

The outcome was international coverage in more than 40 standalone pieces, catapulting RGT Cycling to the forefront of discussions regarding training at home and creating a strong uptake in memberships.
